I recently had an Epiphany in terms of golf and would like some feedback on my brilliant idea.?
Ok here we go nothing really new but i think hybrids are the key to golf i have a nickent 23 deg loft hybrid and hit it 160-215 yards full swing. I recently had an idea of a 4 iron length graphite quality shaft with lets say 34 deg loft which would be a 7 iron maybe 33 deg because of the low CG. If the lie angle was adjusted accordingly would i hit 140-180 yards with ease high soft shots with medium spin? These clubs are a joke so easy to hit makes irons look obsolete.
The whole point of having mid and short irons is not length it is accuracy. increasing shaft length will make them much less accurate. Also you should not have that much of a range in one club. There are 14 in your bag use them.

The Callaway Diablo Edge irons are the longest and most user friendly irons that Callaway have produced and build on the appeal and playability of the now iconic Big Bertha irons.
As part of their commitment to amateur golfers Callaway have been busy studying exactly how ordinary golfers strike the ball. The results led Callaway’s designers to drop the centre of gravity in the Diablo Edge golf irons 50% lower and 17% deeper to move the sweet spot to the exact area where most golfers will hit most of their shots. The relocation of the centre of gravity has also allowed each Diablo Edge iron to have a one degree stronger loft to maintain the height of the ball flight.
A new Solid Impact Sole design allows the Callaway Diablo Edge to slide through the turf more efficiently and reduce the impact of any thinned shots. The Diablo Edge irons are confidence building clubs but if you do need an extra boost then the longer irons can be replaced with the Diablo Edge hybrid from the six iron upwards.
We were impressed by the Big Bertha Diablo irons when they were launched so we were keen to get our hands on the new Callaway Diablo Edge irons. We like the styling and the graphics and our only quibble with the appearance of the Diablo Edge irons is that the short irons can look a little chunky and the large cavity in the longer irons is visible at address. This has also been a problem in the Big Bertha irons but it is only a small complaint and it doesn’t affect performance.
The performance of the Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Irons is excellent and you can really feel the extra power generated by the slightly stronger lofts. With the sweet spot lowered it takes little effort to get the ball and airborne and we’re really impressed that all Callaway’s research into amateur golfers makes such a big difference to the performance. We were similarly impressed by both the standard and tour versions of the Diablo Edge hybrid but we’d certainly recommend that better golfers persevere with the longer irons. Even the 2 iron is wonderfully forgiving with the advantage of a lower ball flight compared to the hybrid equivalent.

There are thousands, if not millions, of golf clubs on the market, so finding the right set or even just the right driver can be a hard decision. However, since the clubs serve as your core golfing equipment, you will significantly benefit from a wise and careful selection of them. Even used clubs can be right for you. But you need to patiently take the time to locate them and avoid the temptation to buy junk simply because the price is right.

1. Work with a Budget
Before you step into a store, set a realistic budget for yourself and work within that. These days, the more a club costs doesn’t always mean that it’s the best. If you’re able to set a financial range for yourself, you’ll often find that there are usually one or two great sets in that particular market.
For advice on some of the better performing sets in your price range, try online customer reviews, ask the clerk at your local pro shop or scoure popular golf magazines for product reviews.
2. Work with your Level of Play
If you’re planning to golf once or twice a year at the company picnic, you don’t need a professional level set of clubs. In fact, you may be able to get away with borrowing a set.
A great option, especially for beginner players, is to purchase a mid-range or used set when you first start playing. If you find that you like the sport and want to continue pursuing it, then either upgrade to a high-performance set or upgrade each club individually.
3. Know Your Size
If you’re above or below average height, be aware that you may have to look into specialty clubs. Most clubs are designed for the average male height of 5′10″ and the average female height of 5′5″.

Irons
Your irons are the clubs with thin clubheads and prominent grooves. There are two styles: cavity-back and blade-style. The choice is personal preference, but many beginners opt for the cavity back.
Irons include long irons (1-4), mid irons (5-7) and your short irons (8-9). Usually, the short irons are easier to use because the shorter the iron, the more loft it has, meaning beginners get a higher shot and more lift.
Woods

A good club set should have at least a driver (1W or 1-Wood) and two fairway woods (3W and 5W).
Putters

Which Putter is Right for You?
You drive for show and putt for dough. That old axiom simply sums up the game of golf. What kind of game are we playing when a six inch putt becomes more important than your best drive of the day? Therefore, it seems buying the right putter and knowing how use to that pesky little club is probably the most important thing we do on the golf course.
Unfortunately, there is no easy way to find the right putter for your golf game. It’s simply by trial and error. But first, learn about the different putter styles and club heads. Then narrow your search down to a particular type of putter. Then check out the name brands to find the putter with just the right touch and feel for you. The one that gives you total confidence when lining up that 15 foot putt. The best news is, that unlike a driver, you don’t have to spend big bucks on your putter. Sure there are models that cost several hundred dollars, but you can also find terrific putters in the $10.00 to $25.00 range.
Let’s explore the different types of putters. The tried and true conventional putter has been around as long as golf itself. It is still the best choice for almost every golfer. One should consider the two other putter types only if you are having big putting problems and need something, anything to get that smooth putting stroke back in the grove.
Bad putting usually means your hands just can’t stay steady throughout the putt and you need something to keep them and your other body parts from yipping when you are trying to put the ball in the hole.
Belly putters and long putters can help. The belly putter gives you a third point of contact, your stomach, when lining up your putt and can act as a fulcrum, keeping your body more stationary.
The long putter is like a grandfather clock. The pendulum like swing forces the wrists to stay locked and send the putt in its intended direction.
The putters grip is strictly a personal decision. Some golfers like a thick grip and feel it helps keep the wrists straight. Others like a slimmer grip and feel it gives them more control. Try both and use the one that simply feels the most confortable. You’ll know it when you hold it.
Putters have several different heads. Let’s begin with the one that is probably not your best choice.
Even though most PGA touring pros use heel weighted blade, it is very hard to control and will probably hurt more than help. Check out a heel toe weighted putter or a face balanced mallet head. Both have larger sweet spots and even a poorly hit putt will end up in the general target area.
Offset or hosel shafts are very helpful to the average recreational golfer. The shaft allows the putter to better line up the putt, by being more on top of the golf ball. They also help keep your hands in front of the ball.

Lexus RX 400h Hybrid Exterior and Interior Overview
When looking at the exterior of the Lexus RX 400h Hybrid, most people see a middle sized hybrid version of the popular RX 350 SUV. Of course this makes sense because it basically is the RX 350 SUV with a different engine. What you find on the outside of the 350 you find on the Lexus RX 400h Hybrid. The Lexus RX 400h Hybrid is just more fuel-efficient with its dual electric motors in addition to the gasoline one.
Both vehicles are elegantly styled, and share the same dimensions. There are a couple of differences, like the front grills and round fog lights. The tail lights are different, and the outside paint job comes in a larger variety of colors which are brushed and includes aluminum interior accents instead of the wood trim that is reminiscent of the regular SUV version. The 2006 was noticeably different in that it had wood trim that was called Bird’s Eye Maple.
As mentioned before, the 2008 edition includes changes to the exterior such as chrome door handles, revised front grille, and rear spoiler. And don’t forget the new 18 inch wheels. Is it enough to attract new customers? Yup. This vehicle is sleek, aerodynamic with a raked windshield and sloping roofline. The whole vehicle has been put together seamlessly and it’s assuredly one of the best assembly jobs Toyota has done in a long time.
People who like the outside will love the inside and it’s pretty natural to expect only top quality in the cabin. It’s spacious and the buyers love it. The cabin can seat five and looks entirely different from the standard RX 350. It makes a statement, claiming its own identity in the SUV world. The driver’s and passenger’s front seats are well-padded – cushy comes to mind – and everything is well in the driver’s reach along the front console. The gauges are easy to read and the wood trim tops it all off. And there is a touch screen information display that gives the driver immediate access to amount of gasoline left, how much charge is in the battery, oil life, tire pressure, and more. This kind of information has become fairly standard on all SUV’s, hybrids or not.
The rear seats are just as cushy with plenty of headroom and legroom for taller passengers. There is nothing worse than cracking your skull on the roof whenever you climb in and out of a vehicle. Okay, feeling like a pretzel is worse. The seats have a 40/20/40 configuration which means they can be split and fold down to increase the cargo space. The cargo space isn’t the Grand Canyon, but it can hold quite a bit and with both passenger seats folded down, you get 85 cubic feet that can also be reached by the tailgate. There is no third row seat and Toyota’s other popular SUV, the Highlander, is the same way. Many of the competitor’s vehicles offer an optional third row seat that can be folded down to make cargo space.
The front seats are powered and can move in ten different directions. There are dual climate controls, steering wheel controls, and a six-CD changer with an eight speaker radio system. The second row seats slide and recline. Additional ala carte options include power-tilt steering, sunroof, driver seat memory, leather upholstery, back-up camera, navigations, audio package and rear-seat DVD. Just think how quiet the children will be on that long trip or how nice it will be to shuffle the CDs without having to fumble for the case.
